I am actively researching two unsolved areas of computational geometry: (1) planar constructive geometry using arbitrary curves instead of polygons, and (2) robust general usage of the Bezier curve. I have developed a corpus of C software constituting a "virtual laboratory" for these efforts.
Most of the results of this research and development are unpublished. The Metafog project (described on the TrueTeX home page) does touch on some aspects. My short description of the Bezier curve intersection-finding problem is on the Web.
I read and post to the newsgroup comp.graphics.algorithms regularly, especially within any thread titled with the word "Bezier". You can often engage me on these topics there.
I am available as a consultant-for-hire on these topics, and invite your technical inquiries. Many questions are easily answered, or can be directed to published sources.
